Terms of Service
Last updated: August 27, 2026
Welcome to Phronx. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Phronx website and course platform (the "Service"), operated by Phronx Learning Hub ("Phronx", "we", "us"), based in Pampanga, Philippines. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Phronx sells and delivers online courses in the Philippines, including general courses and CPD (Continuing Professional Development) programs for PRC-licensed professionals. All course content is produced by Phronx's own in-house instructors — we do not resell third-party courses.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must consent to your use of the Service and takes responsibility for your account.
3. Enrollment and payment
- Course prices are shown and charged in Philippine Pesos (PHP).
- Payments are processed through our payment gateway, HitPay, which supports GCash, Maya, QR Ph, InstaPay, PESONet, ShopeePay, credit/debit cards, and buy-now-pay-later options. We do not store your card or e-wallet credentials ourselves.
- Enrollment is confirmed once your payment is confirmed by HitPay. Bank transfer and over-the-counter payment methods can take hours to settle — your enrollment activates as soon as payment clears, not immediately at checkout.
- Refunds: you may request a full refund any time before you open any lesson content in a course you've enrolled in. Once you've accessed course content, the enrollment is non-refundable. A refund revokes access to the course; any CPD units already credited for it are reversed. To request a refund, email info@phronx.com with your order details.
- We may change course pricing at any time; changes never affect enrollments you've already paid for.
4. CPD units and certificates
For PRC-accredited CPD programs, CPD units are credited only once you complete a course's required content and assessments, only if you have a verified PRC license and profession on file, and only if that profession matches the program's accreditation. The unit value, PRC accreditation number and accreditation window are fixed to your certificate at the moment you complete the course — later re-accreditation of the course does not change units you've already earned.
For Self-Directed Learning (SDL) tracks, entries you log are your own claims, submitted with your own supporting evidence, for your own CPD records — Phronx does not award or verify SDL units the way it does for accredited programs.
Accredited-program units and SDL units are never combined into a single total; your dashboard, exports and certificates always show them separately.
Certificates are issued electronically, are numbered, and are immutable once issued. If a certificate needs correcting, we revoke the original (noting the reason) and issue a replacement that references it — we never edit an issued certificate in place. Certificate numbers can be looked up by anyone for verification purposes; a lookup confirms the certificate, course and completion date and does not expose your license number, email, or other enrollments.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share your account or course access with anyone else.
- Copy, redistribute, or publicly share course content, videos, or materials.
- Attempt to circumvent enrollment, payment, or access controls.
- Submit CPD claims, license numbers, or supporting evidence that are false or not your own.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
6. Intellectual property
All course content, videos, text, graphics, and materials on the Service are owned by Phronx or its licensors and are protected by Philippine and international intellectual property law. Enrollment grants you a personal, non-transferable license to access the content for your own learning — it does not transfer ownership of any content to you.
7. Availability and changes to the Service
We may add, remove, or modify courses, features, or pricing at any time. We aim to give notice of material changes affecting active enrollments, but the Service is provided on an "as available" basis.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms — including sharing your account or submitting false CPD claims. You may stop using the Service at any time; this does not entitle you to a refund except as described in Section 3.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, Phronx is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under the Philippine Consumer Act (Republic Act No. 7394) that cannot be waived by agreement.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
